| SHRACHI IN AGRICULTURE CASTING A POWERFUL SHADOW |

| BTL started off, by assembling Power Tillers with Chinese technology under the brand name, shrAchi. Ever since there has been no looking back and BTL has grown stronger day by day to have a Pan – Indian presence and proudly secure the third rank in India with around 20% market share. We not only have added a new product called SHRACHI KUBOTA in our arsenal in association with Thailand based subsidiary Kubota, Japan to our existing SHRACHI SIFANG, but have also introduced a new array of products like Self – Propelled Reaper, Mini – Combine Harvester and Fertilizer – cum – Seed Drill and many more are yet to follow suit. BTL is also catering to the spare parts needs of the customers for almost all the power tiller companies in India. |
| For financing of the abovementioned products, BTL has tie – ups with leading Indian banks like SBI, UBI, Axis Bank, UCO bank and rural banks as well. More tie – ups are in the pipeline. |
| Currently BTL has a combined installed capacity of 5000 power tillers with 2 assembling locations, Dum Dum in Kolkata, which has an annual capacity of 3000 and Bangalore has a capacity of 2000 power tillers per annum. |
| Starting from one location in Kolkata, BTL now has 8 branch offices at Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Assam, Gujarat, and Chattisgarh with head office at Kolkata, West Bengal. We have also, while serving for 15 years, developed a strong dealer network of more than 200 dealers, spread throughout the length and breadth of the country. |
| BTL is an ISO 9000:2000 company and approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India & by the various State Government Agriculture Departments and most of the State Agro Industries Corporations in India. Products of BTL complies with all the statutory requirements like Performance Testing Report and Central Motor Vehicle Rules by Central Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute, Bharat Stage II norms by Automotive Research Association of India, Pune and Minimum Performance Standards by Ministry of Agriculture, New Delhi. |
| The Division recorded a sale of 3500 Power Tillers in 2006 – 07 fiscal as compared to 2800 in 2005 – 06, thus registering a 25 percent growth. The company has announced an ambitious target of 5000 tillers in 2005-06 fiscal. In the first quarter the Company has already achieved a sale of 1000 Tillers and is confident of achieving its annual target. |
