INTERIORS 2006 : Bengal Shrachi in ABID (Architect Builders and Interior Decorators)

The ABID exhibition is being held on a regular basis since 1990 by the name of INTERIORS. This platform gives the manufacturers an opportunity to elaborate on their products to the public.

ABID was formed to exchange ideas and information on various facets of human habitat. The aim was to provide a common platform where professional and those in related trade would interact to provide service to the society by helping to enrich its life-style.

It has been ABID's endeavor to create awareness in public regarding Interior Designing and Decoration. The association has been organizing Exhibitions, Seminars and Workshops on a regular basis.

Bengal Shrachi will be showcasing Block-By-Block in the ABID Fair. Block-By-Block which will come up in Newtown will be dedicated exclusively to homemaking accessories and allied resources. Since Bengal Shrachi firmly believes in providing quality homes, so the punch line for Block-By-Block goes as, "The complete home solutions mall". Designed by the world renowned Singapore based architect Stephen Coates, Block-By-Block promises an unparallel international lifestyle experience.

The reason for Bengal Shrachi's entry to ABID is to let the world of designers and architects get a glimpse of the new world of home décor, furnishings and materials- a present from Shrachi to the citizens of Kolkata. Block-By-Block will offer a wide choice to a prospective buyer to make a good purchase.

The timing of the ABID Fair (starting from 6 th Jan onwards to 11 th Jan 2006 ) coincided with the promotional plans of Block-By-Block. Since ABID will comprise of several architects, builders and designers and other furnishing industries right under one roof at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata, so it will be a confluence of Block-By-Block and the other prominent achievers of related industries. Through ABID, BBB aims to come in the arena of prospective clients and buyers. ABID will present the ideal platform for BBB to shake hands with the masters of home building industry from far flung places. The starting of a new relationship which will continue in the years to come.

The BBB Shrachi Stall will display all product materials and related presentation of BBB, to give first hand information to the clients and buyers all at once. The stall plans to showcase the mall design and floor plans with all intricate details and information. The stall with be the first glimpse of BBB, a small model of the mall itself, to let the world know that buyers and homemakers will not have to wait for home décor exhibitions and fairs which usually happens once in a year. They will have the exhibition in the form of a mall throughout the year and also in the future years to come.

AWARD FOR MR. RAHUL TODI

ABID (Association of Architects, Builders, Interior Decorators & Allied Businesses) conferred the prestigious award for exemplary contribution to real estate on Mr. Rahul Todi, Managing Director, Bengal Shrachi Housing Development Limited on January 11, 2006 at ABID - INTERIORS 2006, the most popular Interiors exhibition in Eastern India.

Today Mr. Todi is one of the few who understands the highly disorganised real estate industry in India. He joined Bengal Shrachi, the real estate business of the 800-crore Shrachi Group in the year 2000 as Managing Director. In this capacity, he has to his credit several prestigious housing projects in and around Calcutta.

Under his dynamic leadership, Bengal Shrachi has always aimed at delivering quality housing based on value management, ethical trade practices and quality commitment. It has always been committed to setting standards to create a more sustainable model of growth.
